100 Books of Poetry

Freely received. Freely given.

I never thought I’d share my writing.

I was an introvert who shuddered at the thought of public speaking and withdrew from social circles—let alone share my story of sexual assault, addiction, and mental health struggles with the world.

But I felt a pull toward a purpose: to help others self-reflect, find healing, and grow.

Over the years, I’ve received many notes about the impact my poetry has had on other’s lives—whether through me sharing my story from a stage, a poetry open mic, or through my three poetry books. It’s both wild to me that my words could reach so deeply into someone’s heart and resonate—and yet not surprising, since they are a written reflection of how God has shown up in my life. A testament to His goodness and presence in every moment of my life. Freely received.

In an effort to further expand this testament and help reach others with hope, I am launching the project: 100 Books of Poetry. With that, 100 copies of my poetry books will be gifted to anyone who wants one. No strings attached. Freely given.

Our goal is to gift 100 books by the end of July. This is about expanding that reach—to meet others in the moment they are in and invite Perfect Peace, clarity, and hope.

Maybe this is the month that, through reading a testimony in poetry, another person’s story of healing begins.

Freely received. Freely given.

If you’d like to partner with me—to make hope accessible to all—you can do so through the links below. This could be by helping cover the cost of physical books or by connecting me with a community that would benefit from them.

Note: For those that feel inclined to purchase a copy, 100% of book sale profits during the month of July will go directly back into funding book donations.

If you are a reader:

Join the 100 Gifts of Poetry as a reader + recipient. From July 1–15, one of my three poetry books will be free on Kindle. Snag a copy for yourself + share it with a friend.

If you’d like to partner to bring
100 Gifts of Poetry to fruition:

Support the project via the link below; donations help cover printing + postage for physical books donated to communities without access.

If you are connected to a school, prison, or community group:
